Support Huntington's Disease through the HDSA Amaryllis Sale!

It's time for our annual Huntington's Disease Society of America Amaryllis Sale. Amaryllis is a stunning and hearty flower which can bloom all year round, indoors or out. Amaryllis make wonderful additions to your home or office, are excellent presents for co-workers, neighbors, and family members, and even make a nice donation to local churches or family aid organizations. Planting and care is easy, as each Amaryllis comes in a complete kit with all items necessary for indoor or outdoor planting.
In 2007, profits and donations from the Amaryllis sales will be donated to the Huntington's Disease Society of America Wisconsin Chapter. Huntington's Disease is a hereditary, degenerative brain disorder that slowly diminishes an individual's ability to walk, think, feel, talk, and reason. The disease usually strikes young adults between the ages of 30 and 40, but children as young as two have developed the disease. Right now 1 in 10,000 Americans are at risk for this disease, which there is currently no effective treatment or cure. There are many families right here in the Madison area dealing with this horrible disease.
