Welcome Hunter Evan!
I've never had any siblings, but I grew up with two cousins, Heather and Amy, who were pretty darn close. Last Sunday Heather gave birth to her son, Hunter Evan. And I must say as an excited aunt (or second cousin... whatever) he's freaking adorable. Congrats Heather and Chris.

Got Those Runnin' Legs
What a weekend! Saturday Ken and I ran “Bucky’s Race for Rehab” supporting the UW Physical Therapy school. It’s always so much fun to see all of my friends from the Kinesiology program who are still in school. Sucks to be them. Actually, they will all be making twice as much as me, so it really doesn’t suck to be them. Anyway, we ran the race, and I got second place! Out of like 200 women! I also improved my 5K time by a minute and a half! I won a gift certificate to the New Balance store, which bought me two whole pairs of racing socks… but who cares, I got second place! It’s nice to see hard work pay off.
Yesterday I did my longest long-run yet. 15 stinking miles. The first 12 felt awesome, but the last three really made me wonder why I am putting myself through this hell. But the marathon is just over a month away, so we have to keep on truckin’.
The weather is beautiful outside, but I’m stuck here working all day. Yet another extremely busy week. But hey, busy = money, which I can really use. Happy Spring everybody!
