Weddings are FUN!

Last weekend Jamie and Jill were married! And what a BLAST of a wedding it was! The wedding was held in Stillwater, MN and most of the lumberjack crew attended. It was so strange to see all of us dressed up… but kind of neat too!
The ceremony was beautiful. Because I had to work in the morning, I packed my bags quickly, rushed up to Stillwater, had about 10 minutes to shower and get ready at the hotel, and then booked it to the church. I made it just in time for Jill to walk down the aisle (sorry about that Jill!) and I was glad I did… she was absolutely beautiful! I then realized I was wearing two completely different shoes. Way to go Shana! So between the ceremony and reception I was the best dressed person at Target buying new shoes, earrings, and a purse. I also had some time to throw on some make-up. The reception was probably the most fun I’ve had all summer; and I’ve never danced so much in my life! Every once in awhile I would stop and look at all of my awesome friends… and felt so damn lucky! I honestly have some of the greatest friends in the world. They are the reason log rolling is the best sport ever. The only thing that would have made the night better would have been if Ken was able to make it! Slow dances were a bit depressing… haha. So thank you Jamie and Jill, for such a great time.

Saturday I drove home and took at stop at the new outlet mall in the Wisconsin Dells. I hate shopping. I really do. BUT (Ken will agree to this) Nike Outlet Store + Shana = Bad news. Luckily I did not break my bank account with this particular visit. :)

Sunday Ken and I mapped out the course for the “Canines For A Cure” Dog Run/Walk this coming Saturday. The people at the park thought we were totally insane for driving all over the place over and over again. One ranger even stopped us to see if we needed directions! But we successfully mapped out the two mile course. And just an FYI… you need a permit to play Frisbee Golf. If you don’t have one, you WILL get caught. Promise. Anyway, if you are free this Saturday, PLEASE COME TO THE CANINES FOR A CURE DOG RUN/WALK AT TOKEN CREEK PARK! Even if you don’t have a dog, the humane society is bringing some homeless doggies who would LOVE to go for a stroll. Alrightly… time for work!
