Shana and the Boom Run Girls on ESPN 2!

Hello everybody! ESPN 2 will be airing last Summer's STIHL Timbersport Series this weekend! I won't tell you how it goes, but I do win a few medals. :) The boom runners competed at the Decatur, Alabama and Stillwater, Minnesota venues. Here are the segments:

Sunday December 17th
ESPN 2
3:00pm – 5:30pm EASTERN
The same segments will be aired again:
Tuesday December 19th
ESPN 2
5:00 – 5:30am
2:00 – 3:00pm EASTERN
Friday December 22nd
ESPN 2
2:00pm – 4:00pm EASTERN

Keep in mind they will go back and fourth between the women's boom running and all of the men's events. So you will have to stay tuned the entire time to see the ladies. But it's exciting stuff to watch!

What is it?
Your name will be put on an e-mail list with other helpful Wisconsin residents. When we need volunteers for any fundraising function or promotion, we will e-mail the list and ask for volunteers. You by NO MEANS have to do anything, but if an event falls on a day you are free, and is close by, we would love your help! Examples of e-mails you may receive:
· Volunteers for Hoop-a-thons
· Volunteers to collect Ink Cartridges from friends
· Volunteers to hang fliers about upcoming events
· Volunteers to help find sponsorships or donations for events

Your e-mail address will not be put on any other e-mail list, nor will it be shared with anybody unless you give further permission.

Shana in Newsweek Magazine This Week!

I am featured (I believe it is just a brief blurb) in this week’s Newsweek Magazine! It is the one with “Will Bush Listen?” on the cover (how ironic). If you flip to the story about genetic testing “Peering into the Future: Genetic Testing” I should have a few quotes there. I did quite a long interview with them.
